Knowledge organized for people, not engagement

AltrEdit is a human-first discussion and knowledge platform designed to make useful contributions easier to find, revisit, and improve.

Topics organize knowledge

Every contribution has one primary Topic and may connect to a small number of secondary Topics. Topics are public subject indexes, not communities owned by a moderator team.

Circles organize people

Circles bring people together around a place, project, identity, or shared practice. A canonical contribution can be shared with multiple Circles without copying the post or fragmenting its discussion.

Context replaces global karma

Feedback describes what a contribution added: Useful, Firsthand, Well-supported, Constructive, or Changed my mind. These signals build context inside relevant Topics instead of creating a public global popularity score.

Transparent governance

Circle stewards manage local participation, Topic curators maintain subject structure, and platform moderators enforce sitewide safety rules. Consequential platform decisions receive a public summary and may be appealed by the affected author.
