Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed July 14, 2026
AltrEdit aims to make core reading, account, contribution, reporting, and appeal workflows usable with keyboards, screen readers, zoom, high contrast, and common assistive technologies.
Current foundations
- Semantic headings, landmarks, labels, and a skip-to-content link.
- Visible keyboard focus and keyboard-operable native controls.
- Responsive layouts, scalable text, light/dark themes, and selectable interface fonts.
- Text alternatives for meaningful interface icons and status communicated with text as well as color.
Known work before unrestricted launch
Formal WCAG 2.2 AA evaluation, screen-reader testing across supported browser combinations, zoom/reflow testing, reduced-motion review, and user testing with disabled participants remain launch-gate work. Automated checks alone are not sufficient.
