Email support@altredit.com. Include the page URL, your username if relevant, and a concise description. Never send your password, verification code, or unnecessary sensitive information.
Account access
Use Forgot your password? on the login page for a time-limited reset link. Signed-in users who have not verified their email can request another verification message from the account menu.
Safety and privacy
Use the private Report control on a contribution for sitewide safety concerns. For account compromise, exposed private information, legal notices, or a request involving data rights, email support directly with Urgent and the issue type in the subject. Do not reproduce exposed private information in the message unless necessary.
Moderation questions
Public decision summaries appear in the moderation decision history. An affected author can submit one appeal from the relevant decision. General disagreement with another person is not, by itself, a sitewide violation.
Accessibility
If a page or workflow is difficult to use with assistive technology, tell us the browser, device, assistive technology, page URL, and task you were trying to complete. We will provide a reasonable alternative while investigating.
What support will never request
- Your password or full session cookie.
- Payment by gift card, cryptocurrency, or remote-access software.
- Sensitive identity documents by ordinary email unless a specific legally required process has first been explained.
